I have problems making the payment. What could be the issue here?

In general:

  • Do you use the latest browser version? Our payment provider does not support outdated browser versions due to security reasons. We recommend you to switch to the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Safari.

If you are paying by credit card:

  • Is the credit card number correct?
  • Did you enter the correct expiration date (month/year) and is your card still valid?
  • Did you enter the correct CVV number (three-digit number on the back of the card)?
  • Is there sufficient credit on your credit card?
  • Have you registered with 3-D Secure or SecureCode?

In case you are making a bank transfer (except Austria):

  • Did you fill in all the fields correctly?

If you make a payment using your PostFinance Card (Switzerland):

  • Is the ID on the back of the card correct?
  • Did you enter the correct expiration date (month/year) and is your card still valid?
  • Is there sufficient credit in your account?

If you are using a wemakeit credit (except Austria):

  • Is there sufficient credit for the reward you selected?

If it is still not working, please get in touch with us via hello@wemakeit.com, providing us with the following information:

  • your user name
  • project you would like to back
  • amount and reward selected
  • payment method used
  • if applicable: the last four digits of your credit card number
